In addition, they used the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) to evaluate arousal, orgasm, sexual desire, satisfaction, lubrication and pain among the women. The study found that, although sexual desire did not differ between the two groups, all aspects of sexual satisfaction were much lower in the ED group.
After treatment, however, significant improvements were observed in all aspects measured. The study concluded that there is a correlation between female sexual function and male erectile function. The results showed that female sexual function can be improved after treatment of male ED.
